Death and grief

This afternoon my uncle died very unexpectedly. He was walking on the mountain when the ground gave way beneath him. He fell into a subterranean cave, sustaining serious injuries. He was alive when the mountain rescue reached him. They tried to stabilise him, but he died before they could get him out.

We are all in shock.

When I feel able to, I will tell you all about this wonderful man. But right now, I just can't.

Nicole. I have just heard. I still can't believe it. I just spoke to Rory and he is numb. When I came back to Cape Town with Debbie and a very baby Rebekah we went to a family party at their home in Pinelands. Thats when I first met Barry. I can't type any more......... thinking of you all.......your dad will be devastated.
love to you all
Anne

Oh my word, I heard about it on Cape Talk. I wondered about the family that this gentleman left behind, because they certainly weren't prepared or thinking he might die!!!!!!!! HECTIC!!!!!
What a HUGE shock.

Big hugs to you and your family as you try to process this.
